In my classes I frequently require students to find peer reviewed resources - research articles - support their position and opinions. Being able to find, read and apply peer reviewed research in our professional practice is the hallmark of a high quality practitioner. Finding and reliable information can also be a useful ability in evaluating the claims made by websites, equipment manufacturers and supplement companies. In this first presentation we will discuss "good" and "bad" information and examine the types of questions that we can ask of the literature to guide and enhance our professional practice.
