aboutme
What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is teaching others about the human body, its anatomy and its physiology, in an effort to enhance its function. I also have an interest in health, wellness and injury prevention and I believe an understanding of anatomy and physiology can guide us in these areas as well. A full time Professor in the department of Exercise Science and Sports Studies, I have taught at California University of Pennsylvania for over 10 years. Much of the content here is a distillation of what is included in my courses. Other content posted here is information to supplement my courses. In the past I have served as the director of the Graduate Athletic Training Education Program and chairperson of the Department of Health Science. I have taught courses in the Graduate Athletic Training Program, the Exercise Science and Health Promotion graduate program and undergraduate courses primarily in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology and Exercise Science. I intend to share some of my best lectures here. I received my BS in Athletic Training/Health Education and PhD in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University and my MS in Physical Education/Athletic Training.
